hoookay so this was an assignment for Applied Design, which has been focused on Flash this semester. We had to do a sort of choose-your-own-adventure thing

If you're intrested/ have the time I reccomend going through a few times, seeing as the losing scenes are actually more amusing then winning the game :D

I had a good old chuckle while making this :D I know there's some errors (eg sometimes the buttons don't choose the route you clicked..but only sometimes?) but i'm very much a beginner at Flash. Some things in that program are hard to wrap your head around!! But aside from that I'm actually pretty proud with the result.. considering how confused i was at the beginning c:

enjoy kidlets! <3

EDIT: I realised some of the script is messed up so on some pages if you don't make your choice quickly enough it chooses for you xD oops my bad

Pretty good job! :)
If you accept a suggestion though: Next time, remember to pause your timeline in the action script with the stop(); command, othervise, the movie will continue with the next scene if the timeline is too short
For example: here, when you don't make your choice in time on the first part, you will see the dog and the human walk up on the street over and over again. In the second part, they will actually continue on their way, throught the bridge, even though you didn't tell it to. That is because that choice comes right after the pause in the timeline.

If you stop a timeline with stop(); , it will still play after the "gotoandplay" command is executed, so don't worry about that. :)

Thanks for that information! I realised those mistakes unfortunetly after I'd handed the project in...action script is pretty confusing to me just starting out on flash XD I'll keep these instructions in mind for future projects :)

It's amazing! I really like how the bad dog keeps wagging its tail when the human drowned, fell of a cliff or got run over. Real fun!
